To extract the private key you can open the pandabank > click on Help > Debug window > Console.

In the console you can use the command "dumpprivkey <youraddress>" (replace <youraddress> with your address).

If you have multiple private keys (only if you have imported them yourself) be sure to process each one.

Copy the output to a text editor.

Then to reinitialise the wallet you can close the pandabank entirely.

On Windows

you can press the windows key + r then in the run entry type %appdata%\Pandacoin

then press enter. for windows the folder should be something like this C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Pandacoin

You should backup what's there so Right click wallet.dat file and select Rename – edit the filename to be something else (ie. wallet.dat.bak).

On Mac

In Finder go to "~/Library/Application Support/Pandacoin" and rename the file wallet.dat to something else (ie. wallet.dat.bak).

After renaming your wallet.dat start the pandabank, open the console window once again using click on Help > Debug window > Console. Now enter "importprivkey <privkey>" (replace <privkey> with the output you stored in the text editor).

If you have multiple private keys (only if you have imported them yourself) be sure to process each one.

This is how it should look like when extracting the key.

Do NOT share the output with anyone.

Conversely this is how it looks like when importing the key again.
